The Moment of Truth?
The title of my blogs gets lamer and lamer. I apologize for this since I'm in a very sensitive mind state. Thoughts are whirling through my mind like a wind tunnel and it's hard for me to even keep a good concentration on what I'm doing.
So this past weekend was like all other weekends but with a little twist. That twist is that I could be a little more open to some of my close friends this time around. So on Friday when I was talking with "Gwai-Lo" Andy Shin about my little dilemma....(see previous blog for further details)
Me: So what do you think Andy? What should I do?
Andy: You runaway in fear. You runaway at every opportunity.
Me: Eh? But I've been avoiding/running for the past year.....
Andy: Then go for it.
Me: ....But didn't you said a minute ago tha---
Andy: Then runaway and hide.
Me: Alright, but what if she---
Andy: Then go for it....
This cycle was repeated several times until I decided a different approach. I listed 3 options for him to choose from if he was in my shoes. It proved to be a lot more effective (just teasing ya Andy, you gave me good support :P).
Then came Saturday night. After a nice Japanese dinner, I called up Fluffball and we had a little Quake 2 contest. We had a nice chat about it as well and shared some of his valuable insight....he being experienced in these sort of things and all. The funny part is when both Font and Andy conversed with each other about it over msn with me in the background listening to all this....
Time of Conversation - 3:00 AM
Andy: It's time to bust it out!
Me: "bust it out"? bust what out?
Andy: Bring about your "bonormous" inner-self and show it to her...
(I frowned....and later on Font's face went blank)
Me: that sounds a bit naughty...
Font: How disturbing...
Andy: It's all about spontaneity, like having an....
And I'll stop right there, since in some way they opened up a whole new can of worms started arguing whether God is "spontaneous" or not.
Anyways, their insights were invaluable to me. I hope I can figure myself out by the end of this month, or in the very near future. Wish me luck....
