So I was trying to get something happening during this weekend. Unfortunately everyone seems to be occupied by some foodie event ("Winterlicious"). I should take a look at it next year if they ever decide to host it again.
Anyways, I woke up Saturday morning rather late (went out for Karaoke with my brother). I proceeded downstairs and read the morning papers. Then I remembered that I bought a lottery ticket earlier this week. So I decided to check the numbers....

The First Line on my Ticket
06 - 22 - 30 - 31 - 33 - 35 - 37
It was a pleasant surprise (as well as a shock) to kick start the weekend. I was later informed by my mom of my prize payout. So I was one of 10,960 lines of numbers to hit 5 of 7 numbers (probablity was like less than 10%). Wow, I was 2 numbers away from having my life changed in an instant. I would've been even more happier if I got one more! (HUGE price difference between 5 and 6 numbers)
No one took the main prize....and it's $24 million next week. Gotta give it another shot!
P.S - I'm able to play "My Immortal" on the piano now! Woot!
