So It Begins.....

In about 2 hours, the US army will start their invasion of Iraq. It saddens me to see how the Bush Administration resorts to war whenever their so called "diplomacy" fails on them. It is apparent that the outcome of this war will decide on the fate of his presidency. Hopefully this war will end quickly, but deep down inside I feel the war will be longer than predicted.

I send my prayers to the Iraqi people and wish for their safety during this time of uneasiness.

Fun in the Sun

For once, the sun has finally showed up to bring this long winter to an end. It's funny to see how warm my car was after a day of my lectures (19 degrees with the sun).
However, because of the warm weather all the snow has started melting.....which causes a lot of water......which leads to my flooded basement.
I'm relieved that my basement is carpeted, or else it would be even more ugly. But now the water has spread through most of the carpeting and now threatening the wires of all my electronic devices.

I have spread towels all over the place, but it's not enough. I guess I'll have to wait it out.

A Week of Celebration?

So I have the whole house all to myself since my parents are on vacation. Now I have all the time in the world to do whatever I want to do......along with all the additional chores. =(
Oh well, there's always a downside in every reward. Speaking of reward, I've recently got a new video card. No more choppy graphics and low FPS! Woot!!

School is almost done with a month left in the calender. When summer starts it'll be job hunting time and the beginning of a new golf season =)
